For the month of July the Spiritual Discipline being discussed will be
PRAYER

Our affirmation of faith is I am the one who can make a difference!

Many of us are just waking up to the fact that spiritual recovery is essential part of life for everyone.
It is a process of allowing God to heal our wounded soul so we can help others in the process
of healing. All of us need to take part in this process; it is an inherent part of being human.

The Twelve Steps Spiritual Journey is a process of:
  • Knowing oneself
  • Tapping into the power within
  • Understanding the true and false self
  • Applying practical principles for personal transformation
  • Offering tools to restore the fruits of the Spirit
  • Understanding our inner essence, which is love
The Holy Bible is a book about recovery and it reveals a plan and the source of the
power to accomplish it. It provides us with a pathway to
wholeness - God's mission for reconciliation and healing.

Our purpose is to discuss recovery and how it affects us as individuals and families.
Our goals are to identify our Empowerment Zones
(Home, Church, Community and School)
that can assist us with our concerns.  In addition, we would like to develop
a mentoring mission to assist with our community development.

In summary, you are valuable person and your participation and
involvement will be greatly appreciated.
